Feeling Like Charlie Brown

Open Letter to those Editors who rejected me this week:

I have received four form rejection letters this week.

And now I’m feeling like Charlie Brown and I am trying to kick the football. I realize that I might need to send my short stories to a different market. The problem is I know I am sending out good stuff, good short stories, for submission, but I feel like Lucy just keeps yanking the football away every time I get ready to kick. I have no problem with rejections, but time after time I get the same form rejection letters. I have had it. I’m finished with you. I have ran out of stamps and envelopes to mail you. So, I need to find new markets to send my stuff and I’m also going to keep doing what I have been doing lately and creating my own market and hopefully find an audience (my iPhone app is doing well). I know I am whining this morning, but there is only so many times Lucy can yank the football away before I find another place to play, and hopefully a chance to kick a field goal of my own.
