Three Podcasts You Should Listen to Now
Three Podcasts for Speculative Writers
Here are three podcasts for beginning writers that you should be listening to if you’re not already. I know there are podcasts right now for everyone. Podcasts are spreading like a wildfire and there has been a boom in people doing them, but here are some of the ones I have found most helpful for writers. If you have a iPod like me, all three of these casts are easily accessible on iTunes.
The Dead Robot’s Society is a group of writer’s who host this podcast for aspiring writers. Very much for all writers who are trying figure out the world of writing. Always funny, sometimes crude, and their advice is always useful.
Mur Lafferty does everything, and I think she is only one person. If you don’t believe me look at The Murverse if you don’t believe me. But her pods on I Should be Writing 2.0 is the gem she provides for the rest of us.
Adventures in SciFi Publishing
Shaun Farrell’s own take on publishing in science fiction. He has had many of Sci-Fi’s top authors and publishers, but sadly he has put his own efforts recently on hiatus. But check out his achieves, it is still worth a look.
eMuse Magazine
It has been a long time (okay six years)…and happily, eMuse has accepted my story “Eating Acrylic Pancakes with the Dictators at IHOP on my Birthday,” and I am very thankful that they have. It was a very nice surprise, and it will be in their June edition.

I am:E.E. “Doc” Smith The inventor of space opera. His purple space war tales remain well-read generations later. |
First Guest Author’s Short Story
The first guest author’s story is Justin Macumber’s, Dark Running
I first thought of the idea when I was reminded that museums display each others works, and I thought it might be a good idea for authors to do the same.
If you have a story and you want me to display your work and I like it then email me, Charles Anderson, at madcowbooks@earthlink.net .
Justin is one of the hosts of the humorist podcast, The Dead Robots’ Society. If you are a struggling writer like me (and most writers I know), you must listen to the Robots.
Please Enjoy and Thank You Justin
